KMML helps clients confidently evaluate the financial impacts of their decisions so they can reduce their OpEx and CapEx.

Commercial

There are always issues with commercial energy metering.
So many times we get involved in seemingly routine reviews, only to discover the meters are not working properly, or the bills are not setup correctly and almost without fail, the client is paying for these mistakes.
Over the past five years, KMML have helped clients claw back hundreds of thousands from energy suppliers simply because the meters have been set up wrong.
This could very well be you and our team of experts and engineers are here to help.

Hospitality

GMs don’t have the time to daily monitor the properties electricity usage, they have more important things to do, like find a new Sous Chef, get that conference quote out and prepare the EOM report for Head Office. How many GMs, in the last year, have looked at their electricity bill to pinpoint where you can reduce their energy consumption? Not many if the truth be told but it’s not their fault, they probably aren’t even aware that there ARE savings to be made, if you know where to look.
At KMML we know where to look, it’s what we do and have been doing for the last 4 years we have been in business
.

Some things you may not be aware of

  1. Did you know that electricity providers buy their electricity in advance?
  2. Your electricity bill shows you how much usage you have had during a period but doesn’t show you when you use the most or what those rates are?
  3. In 2018, the government stopped all oil and gas exploration in NZ. This had a profound effect on electricity costs. The chart below shows this jump.
  4. Most commercial businesses have 2-5 year electricity supply contracts. If your contract started in 2017, and is about to expire, you can see below that your prices are about to have a big jump.

Talk to us about how we can get your costs down. We’ll handle the techie details, so you don’t have to.
